October 2014 - WHERE DID THE SUMMER GO!
Apologies for the lack of updates it's been a very busy Summer on all fronts. Open Studios was a great first experience with lots of visitors - despite the poor weather at times. I attended Tony Allain's pastel workshop in Broadway which was truly inspirational.

I participated in the 'East Anglia and Beyond' Exhibition in Bury St Edmunds, Sea Pictures Gallery's 'EAGMA 35th Anniversary Exhibition' in Clare and also the EAGMA ' Boats at Bayfield' show in August - again sadly disrupted by the weather - I did move to Norfolk on the understanding this was England's driest County!

Holidays and celebrations of my 'significant' birthday slowed down painting progress somewhat - but some new work was actually completed, and is included in the New and Available section.

Lots of sketches and reference gathering, from Corfu and also The Barge Race at Brightlingsea with fellow EAGMA colleagues, will provide inspiration for new work this Autumn.

Thanks also to Trunch and Mundesley Art Groups for inviting me to hold demonstrations which I enjoyed immensely.
